They're not, really. An aircraft may have a wheel, but it also has levers for adjusting ascent and descent. There's a lot more atmosphere than there is road, with more specific hazards to be aware of.
Not to mention: weather patterns, wind resistance, visibility, air pressure changes.

Ugh, don't remind me. Out of all the chicks she could score with, she decided to pick the one lady who is an officer. An officer!! The same numbskulls who accepted crooked deals and treated my people like garbage. Not to mention killed a few of them.
Cupcake sweet-talked her so much that my big sis' brain melted into oversugared frosting and turned her into a walking Enforcer traitor. I love her, but I wish that ugly floozy shot out my eyes instead of my finger. Her in that uniform is still burned into my skull.
